Palazzo Anselmi can be found within the structure of the little, well-preserved castle of Arcevia, just a few steps away from the piazza of the Palazzo Comunale. Set on the main street and beautified by the unspoiled magnificence of the bas-reliefs of Asti in front of the old collegiate Church of San Medardo, with its works by Signorelli and Della Robbia- fifteenth century artists, it has a neo-classical facade in brick which encloses the three ancient palatial residences.
The historical palace, which belongs to a noble family of illustrious cultural heritage, contains, behind its main portal, a wide entrance to the palace and its perimeters and which opens on a courtyard and a triumphal staircase with portals of the typical forms of the Palace of Urbino.
The staircase leads to the more noble parts of the palace: to the apartments within the central body of the property facing the courtyard, and to those of the secondary body of the building, extending downwards, with rooms located along a central corridor and ending in a belvedere room with a terrace.
In the main body of the property, on the noble floor, are splendid rooms full of decor; grand private rooms and chapels, with floors, frescoes, portals, fireplaces, upholstery and furnishings of the19th and 20th centuries. On the second floor there is a studio apartment with study areas, a private library and a music room.
The third body of the property, accessible separately from the ground floor, was kept for servants. Linked vertically with a precious stone spiral staircase, it contains the kitchen, small connecting areas and bright attic spaces.
In the basement floors, with independent access to the third portal on the street, are numerous and spacious areas of cellars and warehouses, arranged on several levels and overlooking the central courtyard and the garden below, with independent access from beneath.
Palazzo Anselmi, solid and in good conserved condition, with its façade and its prestigious environments, its multiple and ample spaces, its flexible and original structure, lends itself to numerous functional interpretations. Its very configuration, with its central body open on both sides, its two wings facing the central courtyard, hinging on the surrounding parts of the town and stretching to the valley, and its many access points, make this prestigious property for sale a bright and fascinating proposition.
